NIRI is excited to announce that we are strengthening our leadership team with the appointment of Jack Eaton as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Dr Clement Denis as Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

Jack Eaton brings extensive experience in commercial strategy and business development. As CCO, Jack will work closely with clients to understand their challenges and help translate scientific innovation into commercially viable products. In his role, Jack leads NIRI’s commercial development, managing key client relationships, overseeing marketing activity, guiding the expansion of service offerings to better meet evolving industry needs.
Jack spent seven years at NIRI earlier in his career in consultancy and technical management and returns with broad commercial and industry experience in coatings, pigments and polymer processing. His appointment reflects NIRI’s focus on combining technical expertise with commercial impact to deliver value to our clients.
Our clients will benefit from Jack’s ability to connect market insight with technical capability, helping to shape collaborative innovation projects that move from idea to market.
Dr Clement Denis, an expert in advanced materials and nonwoven technologies, steps into the role of CTO, where he will oversee NIRI’s research and development strategy and project delivery. In his six years at NIRI, Clement has played a pivotal role in developing novel materials and processes, guiding innovation projects across sectors including medical, hygiene, filtration, and sustainable packaging. With a PhD in Materials Chemistry and a strong background in applied science, Clement combines technical rigour with an entrepreneurial mindset.

These strategic appointments reflect NIRI’s commitment to enhancing both its commercial and technical capabilities, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner in the global nonwovens industry.
We also take this opportunity to thank Dr Ross Ward, who has moved on to pursue a new opportunity, and to wish Dr Richard Allen all the very best in his retirement.
