Dr. Iram Abdullah has a degree in Textile Engineering specialised in Textile Chemistry from University of Engineering and Technology Pakistan. She has an MSc in Polymer Sciences and Technology from the University of Manchester. Her MSc thesis focused on improving the structure of Kevlar polyester composites used for the making of internal parts of a submarine. She obtained her PhD in Technical Textiles from University of Leeds. This industrial based PhD focused on improving the easy care performance properties of Tencel fabric. Iram has more than 20 years’ of industrial and academic experience, running R&D projects developing new processes and materials.
