Madelaine Nixon has a first-class degree in Biomedical Science from York St John University. She has also completed a year-long placement in Clinical Biochemistry at York District Hospital. Her degree project focussed on quantification of blood biomarkers via ELISA. Madeline achieved her IBMS Certificate of Competence prior to joining the NIRI team.
